The official bus to BOTY (17-10-2009)
 

We are experienced in organising coach transportation to (international) Hip Hop events since the late 80s. We travelled in group settings to jams in Europe and first bumrushed the Battle Of The Year International in 1996. Our journey to this display of international Hip Hop culture has been an annual highlight for many since than.


In the early days of the BOTY the crowd was a bit different from nowadays’ . B-Boying was kind of played out, Hip Hop was hardcore and underground. Those who were interested in attending the BOTY were representatives of true school Hip Hop. Underground activists from the school of hardknocks. So the bus was packed with graffiti writers, Hip Hop hard heads and old school B-Boys, who were all celebrating Hip Hop from the minute the bus took off. The early bus coaches were true family affairs.


Throughout the years we saw the scene and the event change. Around the year 2000 B-Boying was back by popular demand. When the BOTY headoffice announced that the 2000 edition, at the World Expo in Hannover, would be the last one the young and old all made sure they would be part of it. Because of the huge number of spectators (over 10.000) BOTY headoffice decided to keep the event alive. Since than our coaches were getting more popular amongst people from all over the country and seats were sold out within a couple of days. Nowadays the bus passengers are a wonderfull mixture of B-Boys and Girlz, little kids and their parents, teenagers and adults in age between 10 and 50.


Our aim is to make the trip a great experience for everyone. To achieve this we hand out information sheets about what can be expected in Germany. Tips, tricks and background information on the event as well as information on the local graffiti Hall Of Fame, Streetwear shops, restaurants etc. During the journey we supply sponsor goodies, food & beverage, beats, screen movies and hustle with merchandise. Our coaches are non smoking but we do have good stops and ofcourse a peacefull, funny, positive vibe. We travel by comfortable, modern and luxury coaches that are driven by experienced drivers with vast (inter)national experience, who will ensure that we have a pleasant and safe journey.
